I was so excited when Sarah + Luke reached out to me to photograph their day!  These two had their dreamy Wedding in Ojai, California.  Their home was secluded in the middle of the mountains with gorgeous views everywhere you looked. 

  I have never worked with a more relaxed couple.  Their intentions for the day were to be with their friends and family as much as possible.   I loved how you could tell that every one of their guests was there to support and love on the couple.   

  With a gorgeous view, Sarah’s dreamy Wedding dress, and a live band to finish the night with, Sarah + Luke’s Wedding Day was a complete dream to photograph. 

   I was so excited when Josh + Chelsea’s Wedding Day arrived!  These two had their beautiful Wedding in Santa Barbara, CA.  With a stunning first look near the beach, a ceremony site with views of the mountains + ocean, and a day full of love and joy. Their Wedding was literally out of a dream!  

Here’s a recap of their love story:

Josh and Chelsea’s love story starts where they met, which was at Azusa Pacific University during their junior year in a class taught by a professor who was one of Chelsea’s favorite teachers and the one professor Josh feared the most. They did a few in-class assignments together, barely spoke, and then didn’t talk again for almost a year despite living in the same apartment on campus. Then, through mutual friends and the journalism program at APU, they met again during senior year and connected over drinks and a love of many common things. 

  A few of my favorite details of their day were the stunning decorations, Chelsea’s dress <3, and their beautiful reception site. 

Chelsea + Josh:  I loved working with the two of you! I am so thankful I got to be apart of your day! I know that your marriage is going to be so full of laughter, good books, and love! :) 

     Mikyla and John are two of the sweetest humans I’ve ever met!  These two were wonderful to photograph, not just because they were deeply in love, but because they were so laid back and full of peace the day of their Wedding! 

A few days prior Mikyla contacted me to tell me that they had to change Venues because of the fires in Santa Barbara county!! I could not imagine how stressful that was for this couple, but they handled it like champions!

Their Wedding day took place in dreamy Santa Barbara, with one of a gorgeous beach ceremonies I’ve had the pleasure of photographing.  (The arch you’ll see in the pictures was hand made by Mikyla’s Uncle!! )  The rest of their reception took place only a feet away from the beach at Chase Palm Park!  Their day was full of laughter, dancing, love, and delicious dessert. 

John + Mikyla:  Thank you for letting me be apart of your day! Your love is so sweet for one another, and I know that your marriage will be full of joy and thankfulness for one another.
