Kelsey & Dave

It was truly a gift to be able to photograph my sweet friends, Kelsey, and Dave, on their wedding day!  They had their ceremony and reception in the small town of Parker.  They were surrounded by so many friends and family who love and support them.

I was in the wedding party, and not the lead photographer of their wedding!  It was so sweet to be able to steal the bride and groom around sunset to take some portraits of the two of them. Between the golden light surrounding us and the giant trees over us, it was the dream setting for intimate portraits of the both of them!

I’ve known Kelsey and Dave for most of my life.  It has been so lovely to see them grow as friends, to best friends to now husband and wife.  Their love and care for one another is so evident by how they look at each other.  I am so thankful to know that my best girlfriend is so loved and cherished by her groom.

Star Wars, Starry Eyes, and Magic

I had the joy of taking some engagement pictures for Paige & Quentin while I was home.  It’s so cool to have a client that has been with you through your growth as a Photographer and Artist.  I actually took Paige’s senior pictures for her graduation from High School!! It was so sweet to meet her introverted man, Quentin.

While photographing Paige and Quentin,  it became very easy to see their love for one another. It also became very easy to see their love for Star Wars!  Our shoot was full of laughter, cuddles, and adventuring.  I had a lot of fun watching them battle with their plastic swords!  It was so sweet to see their comfort and interactions with one another.

Also, I can’t get enough of dreamy, open South Dakota fields.

Enjoy!

Paige & Quentin, your love is so sweet.  You are a gift to one another! I can’t wait to photography you both more in the future!

Family Portrait Session in South Dakota

I was recently in South Dakota for about 10 days.  During one of my days there, I got to reconnect with my old friend from high school, Regina! She reached out to me asking if I would be able to take Family Portraits for her.

It was so lovely to see how much Regina has softened becoming a Mama.  Her and her fiance, Jared, are incredible parents.  Their sweet daughter Hadley was all smiles and sweetness.  We also got to take these images at one of my favorite parks in Sioux Falls, Tut Hill! I loved how green and open everything was.

Regina, Jared, and Hadley, you were all a dream to work with! Thank you for being so easy to photograph! You made my job so easy!
